James Turvill and Thea Westwater-Smith from Adelphi Research’s UK office, recently took on the National 3 Peaks Challenge to raise money for charity. James and Thea were part of a team of over 30 employees from Adelphi Group, who climbing Ben Nevis in Scotland, Scafell Pike in England and Snowdon in Wales.
This year Adelphi Research were walking on behalf of Mind, the mental health charity. Other charities that the walk raised money for and contributed to include East Cheshire Hospice and The Christie.
Adelphi Group’s COO David Harrison led the initiative and many completed the challenge within 24 hours of total travel and others achieved a targeted 13 hours of walking and a round trip of 820 miles from our offices in Adelphi Mill in Bollington, Cheshire.
Stuart Cooper, CEO, commented “I am extremely proud of our team of staff from our offices in Bollington, London and Amsterdam, who took on this difficult challenge in extremely poor weather conditions, with pouring rain and 45mph winds in some places. They worked together to achieve this fantastic result and have been impressively supported to raise this fantastic amount for the charities”.
